Letenyey Students’ Erasmus+ Professional Training in Greece
From 13 April 2025 to 26 April 2025, 21 students and 2 accompanying teachers from Letenyey School participated in an Erasmus+ programme and travelled to Greece for a professional training mobility.
During the programme, the students gained practical experience in different fields at a local hotel and its surroundings. The pastry chef, waiter, and cook students worked in the hotel’s kitchen and restaurant, where they carried out hospitality tasks and gained insight into the daily operations of international hotel work.
Students studying agriculture visited a kiwi plantation, where they learned about fruit storage processes and basic cultivation-related procedures. In addition, they also spent time around the hotel, where they observed and assisted with maintenance and area upkeep tasks, contributing to keeping the hotel environment tidy.
The aim of the programme was not only to develop professional skills but also to provide international experience and to introduce different working cultures, which supports the students’ future professional development.
The 2025 school year cannot pass without an Erasmus trip. On October 7, 2025, a group of 22 students set off for Greece to gain hands-on experience in their respective fields.
