The 2025 school year cannot pass without an Erasmus trip. On October 7, 2025, a group of 22 students set off for Greece to gain hands-on experience in their respective fields. They will return on October 20, 2025, and until then, many exciting experiences and opportunities await them.
The first week was already very eventful. After a long journey, they arrived at the Poseidon Palace Hotel in Leptokarya, accompanied by teachers Ibolya Szmolkáné Bene and Miklós Jánosovits. On the first day, they explored the surroundings, rested, and received guidance about the upcoming work.
During the busy weekdays, our students in cooking, hospitality, pastry-making, and agriculture had the opportunity to practice and develop their skills in real workplace environments. Hospitality students worked in a four-star hotel, while our agriculture students were given a unique chance to visit a processing plant and participate in the grape harvest.
Alongside work, there was plenty of time for joint walks, sightseeing, swimming, and even arm-wrestling competitions. During the trip, close connections were formed with the students of Balatonfüredi Szent Benedek Gymnasium, Technical School, and Dormitory, with whom they also participated in joint programs.
Time is flying, and the students are already past the halfway point of their trip. We wish them to enjoy every moment of their journey, grow closer as a group, make new friends, use English in practice, and pick up useful tricks to apply in their future careers!
